Pedicure: pretty feet in three steps

With the arrival of sunny days, we all want to display pretty feet, smooth, soft and well varnished. Here is the care ritual to adopt at home to sublimate them.

Step 1: make a foot bath

Prepare a basin of warm water and add a tablespoon of olive oil and the juice of half a lemon. Soak your feet for ten minutes then dry your feet carefully with a towel.

Step 2: smooth and hydrate

Use a pumice stone to smooth rougher areas of your feet. Your movements must be very firm and supported. Then perform a grain scrub to perfect the exfoliation. Rinse your feet then apply a few dabs of moisturizer.

Step 3: pamper your nails

Use a wooden stick to push back the cuticles. Cut your nails if necessary then refine their shape with a nail file. As for a classic manicure, first apply a protective base, then two coats of varnish and finally a coat of top coat. Our trick to speed up the drying of the nail polish: put your feet under running cold water.

Perform this little skincare ritual once a month and devote at least 30 minutes to it. Moisturize and exfoliate your skin every week to maintain the results of your session.

A few more tips:

  • Apply your cream on your feet then put on a pair of cotton socks with which you will sleep all night. In the morning, you will have dream feet!
  • Fall for a toe separator that will make applying your nail polish easier.
