We present below a typical application protocol for the application of French nails with capsules. Before starting your manicure, disinfect your hands and then disinfect your client’s hands.
1. Preparation of the nail
- Remove any traces or residue of varnish on the nail with acetone-free nail polish remover.
- Push back cuticles.
- Shorten and gently file the natural nail with an nail drill.
- Dust the nail with a brush or nail brush.
- Finally, apply a layer of “Primer” to the natural nail and let it dry.
2. Placement of capsules
- Take care to choose the size of the capsules carefully.
- Glue the capsules.
- Apply a capsule softener to the part stuck to the natural nail.
- Cut the capsules to the desired length using a capsule cutter then file to the desired shape.
- Then gently file the top of the capsule to perfect the connection between the part of the capsule stuck to the nail and the natural nail.
3.French
- Apply UV French gel to the tip of the nail. Then form the “smile” using a marble tool or a brush. To do this, you can use the White Absolute gel of your choice or any other colored UV gel.
- Catalyze under UV lamp for 2 minutes.
- Then apply construction gel using a brush. The construction gel will allow you to consolidate your application but also to give a rounded effect to the nail if you wish.
- Catalyze under UV lamp for 2 minutes.
- Wipe the nails with a cotton pad soaked in Cleaner to remove the sticky part of the gel.
- File any irregularities in the gel until you obtain a homogeneous surface.
- Then use a nail buffer to polish and make the surface of the nail perfectly smooth.
- Apply a thin layer of UV finishing gel.
- Catalyze for 2 or 3 minutes depending on the finishing gel chosen.
- Finally, moisturize the cuticles with the cuticle oil of your choice.
